Updated maximum insurable income thresholds effective 01/01/2026
CHANGES
Note that from 01/01/2026 the Social Insurance Services have increased the maximum insurable income to €5,742 per month (i.e. €68,904 per annum). For any employee that exceeds the above-mentioned thresholds, this will have as a result an increase to the deduction/contributions comparing to the previous year, since 2025’s maximum insurable income amounted to €5,551 per month (i.e. €66,612 per annum).
